The Climate Reality Project needed a way to get young voters to consider climate change during elections. Except there was a problem: teenagers can't endorse any real candidates.
So, we created one they could: Earth, a CGI penguin with the voice of Liza Koshy and the backing of Al Gore and even actress Kristen Bell. With all the great support, we helped raise the youth voter turnout to record highs for the midterms.
A poster designed by Shepard Fairey. You may remember him from that famous Obama poster.

And speaking of Obama, here is ex vice-president Al Gore endorsing our new candidate.

We launch the campaign on Twitter, then created a microsite to educate visitors on climate change issues and on how to vote. Nearly 1.000 people registered to vote directly through the site.
Of course, it wouldn't be a proper political campaign without a candidacy announcement.

And of course, here's the unmissable merch with some catchy copy.

Here's Kristen Bell definitely ending in The Good Place.
And here, Earth withdrawing before the election so voters could elect actual humans.
